Services and Policies
WE
OFFER THE FULL SPECTRUM OF SERVICES TO KEEP YOUR OUTLAW KART IN TOP RUNNING
CONDITION. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE KART
INSPECTION, GENERAL MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, AND REPLACEMENT OF WORN OR DAMAGED
PARTS. WE OFFER MIG AND TIG WELDING
SERVICE FOR CHROME-MOLY OR STAINLESS TUBING AND ALUMINUM PARTS, AND WE CAN
STRAIGHTEN FRAMES THAT ARE MILDLY BENT. ENGINE REPAIRS ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH
THE SHOP INCLUDING INTEK, SUBARU, AND 2-STROKE ENGINES. ALL ENGINES REQUIRING TECH INSPECTION FOR
WINGED OUTLAWS OF IDAHO TRACKS MUST GO THROUGH OUR SHOP TO MAINTAIN THE
INTEGRITY OF THE TECH INSPECTION AND SEALING PROCESS. SPECIFIC SERVICES AND PRICES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
SHOP
LABOR RATE IS $45/HOUR, MINIMUM LABOR CHARGE IS $20, ESTIMATES
ARE AVAILABLE.
ENGINE
TECH: ALL INTEK AND SUBARU ENGINES MUST
GO THROUGH OUR SHOP FOR REPAIRS. ENGINES
ARE DELIVERED TO THE APPROVED REPAIR TECHNICIAN AND ARE BROUGHT BACK TO THE
SHOP AFTER REPAIRS ARE COMPLETE AND ENGINE IS RESEALED. INTEK AND SUBARU PARTS ARE AT OUR COST, LABOR
IS CHARGED BY THE TECHNICIAN. WE ADD A
$10 HANDLING FEE TO RECOVER FUEL COST FOR PICK UP AND DELIVERY OF THE
ENGINE. REPAIR ESTIMATES ARE PROVIDED
UPON REQUEST.
K&N
FILTER CLEANING: $6 FOR ONE, $5 EACH FOR
TWO OR MORE FILTERS. CLEANING SERVICE
INCLUDES INSPECTION, CLEANING AND RE-OILING.
WE ONLY USE K&N CLEANER AND OIL.
DROP OFF YOUR FILTERS IN THE TRAILER AFTER THE RACE AND WE WILL HAVE IT
READY IN THE SHOP ON WEDNESDAY, OR YOU CAN PICK IT UP IN THE TRAILER BEFORE THE
NEXT RACE.
TIRE
MOUNTING: $5 PER TIRE TO REMOVE, REPLACE, AND SEAT BEADS ON NEW TIRE. WE WILL MOUNT TIRES AT NO CHARGE WHEN YOU
PURCHASE NEW WHEELS FOR YOUR TIRES.
CUSTOMERS MUST DISPOSE OF THEIR OLD TIRES (AND NOT IN OUR DUMPSTER,
PLEASE).
2-STROKE
ENGINE REPAIR: WE USE CAPTAIN RON RATTERREE
2-STROKE ENGINES ON OUR 125CC AND 500CC KARTS.
HE CAN REPAIR JUST ABOUT ANY BLOWN ENGINE. YOU WILL FIND OUR PARTS PRICES ARE VERY
COMPETITIVE. BRING JUST THE ENGINE OR
LEAVE IT ON THE KART AND WE WILL GET IT RUNNING RIGHT AGAIN.
KART
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS: ALL KARTS MUST
BE CLEAN WHEN YOU DELIVER THEM TO OUR SHOP FOR MAINTENANCE. IF NOT CLEAN, WE WILL CHARGE AN ADDITIONAL
$20 TO WASH AND LUBRICATE THE KART BEFORE WE BEGIN WORK.
RACECEIVER
REPAIR: IF YOUR
RACECEIVER GOES ON THE BLINK OR GETS DAMAGED, WE WILL SEND IT BACK TO THE
FACTORY FOR TESTING AND REPAIR. IN ORDER
TO KEEP YOU IN THE RACE, WE WILL SELL YOU AN OPERATIONAL RACECEIVER FOR $40
WHICH IS OUR COST TO HAVE YOUR’S REFURBISHED.
RACECEIVERS THAT ARE OUT OF WARRANTY OR ARE BEYOND REPAIR DUE TO
NEGLIGENCE WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED WITH A NEW ONE AT THE STANDARD PRICE (YES,
DROPPING IT ON THE TRACK AND RUNNING OVER IT IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY).
NEW
KART ORDERS: WHEN ORDERING A NEW KART OR
NEW FRAME AND CAGE, WE WILL HELP YOU COMPLETE THE KART ORDER FORM TO MAKE SURE
YOU ARE ORDERING WHAT YOU REALLY WANT.
WE REQUIRE HALF DOWN TO PLACE THE ORDER AND PAYMENT IN FULL TO PICK UP
THE NEW KART. MOST KART ORDERS ARE
DELIVERED WITHIN A WEEK.
